FAQs

A few useful answers.

A growing set of straightforward answers about SIGNAL, how it works and the people behind it.

01

How long does a SIGNAL Review take?

A SIGNAL Review is designed to be completed in less than a month — even for large enterprises.

That is deliberate. Social media intelligence loses value when the process takes months and the evidence begins to date. SIGNAL is designed to move quickly: from a focused initial briefing through research and analysis to a clear strategic report while the picture is still current.

It also places minimal demand on internal teams. Beyond the initial briefing, SIGNAL does the heavy lifting. It is a defined, contained engagement rather than a long consulting programme — making it easy to commission between campaigns, planning cycles or whenever a fresh strategic perspective is needed.

02

Who is behind SIGNAL?

SIGNAL is an independently owned strategic intelligence business, co-founded by Nigel Malone and Chessa O’Hara, operating across the Middle East and APAC.

Nigel brings more than 20 years of senior strategy experience across business, brand, communications and social media, working with major enterprises, governments and organisations internationally.

Chessa, formerly of Consulum, brings senior communications experience advising governments, sovereign-backed organisations and major businesses across complex reputation, communications and strategic challenges.
